Frosty Struggle
On a cold frosty
Winter night
He sits huddled
With his plight
Of faring the still
More freezing days
Under the broken shed
In this blinding haze
A daunting task
For a man of few means
To keep alive while
Death nearby gleans
The others who
Lay under the stars
Without any wounds
Cuts or scars
Another war he, will
Have to fight
To stay alive to
See next day’s light
Some how or other
He still manages
To stand firm while
Life still rummages
For weaker souls
Who never struggled
Never bore pain
Always wriggled
But he will have
The same struggle tomorrow
To hold back life
When death begins borrow.

A Lonely River
A lonely river in a dusty plain
Making a pattern of watery chain
Goes on for as far as eyes can see
For eternity into the distant sea
Does not know the very banks
Protecting it with supporting flanks
Even the lone companion is unknown
The sun who has come and gone
Without any words or even a salutation
In the long journey of its salvation
To its lord the mighty sea
That blesses it with gratitude and glee
On completing the journey alone
Without any help or a guiding stone
On and on for years at times
Fighting solitude, silence and rough climes
The goal was worth the arduous trail
The shores washed in the Holy Grail
Welcomed it into its mighty fold
To live there for ever and never get old

Rain
Bathing the trees drenching the earth
Washing Sarcasm bringing in mirth
In the long dry days of simmering heat
Here comes the rain to the clouds’ beat
Blinding the sun with a dusty gale
A prelude of vitality to things went pale
Riding on the backs of tumultuous clouds
Some times alone at time in crowds
Starts with a gentle drizzle pampering the plains
The drops cleansing the summer stains
Many a things died waiting for the show
But still others receiving the energy to grow
With the stout clouds blockading the sun
Rain keeps pouring and brook start to run
Quenching the thirst of the dry parched land
Floats in gaiety even the last grain of sand
It pours from the sky and they grow from the earth
A new ring of life a lively nature’s girth
Life flows in rivers in form of the waves
And he will grow greatest the most who saves
Bathing the trees drenching the earth
Washing Sarcasm bringing in mirth

The gentle breeze
The gentle breeze silently blows
Alone for miles as the sun glows
Doing whatever little it can
Cooling the masses’ burning tan
Bringing relief however small
On its path of perpetual roll
Receiving a gift of sweaty beads
In lieu of its cooling deeds
Never feels ashamed or frail
In walking the scorching sunny trail
Or taking on the mightier rival
Even taking with it a path of revival
Of life drying and dying in the heat
Oppressed and fallen bound by a cleat
A small speckle of life it brings
The last drop from the last wring
Carrying a hope of resurrection
Even in midst of the destruction
Has lessons, for many to learn
Of how to stand even in a churn
Of never getting bogged down
From the shine of the opponent’s crown
Doing whatever it is destined
Small, big, askew or aligned
The gentle breeze silently blows
Alone for miles as the sun glows
Doing whatever little it can
Cooling the masses’ burning tan
Bringing relief however small
On its path of perpetual roll
Receiving a gift of sweaty beads

Celestial Battles
Hurriedly came the gasping night
After the day long arduous fight
To overpower the glazing sun
In the end of this daily run.
It’s reign now very imminent
Over everything vague or pertinent
Overcoming the fatigue of the acclivity
It overpowers all in its serendipity
The sun now hides below the seas
Its actions and attack in the freeze
Taking a rest between the blows
While the opponent rightly glows
The night rules supreme now
Darkness and silence coming in tow
The masses oblige to this dictate
Silent spectators of this change in fate
But still pockets of resistance remain
The stars the moon hard to refrain
Show the mettle of their worth
That, not all surrender on the earth
The day stealthily creeps back
Mounting from distance a new attack
And witness to this new battle
The birds announce in their tattle
That soldiers of the day quickly grow
Piercing the night with its deadly prow
The commander now appears, proud
Driving away the few opponents crowd
The night retreats back to its shell
Some anonymous cell in a faraway dell
The earth has now come a complete circle
Bringing balance to this majestic chronicle.

Went on walking
Days of solitude
days of pain
miles to walk
in hope of some gain
A distant sun
with slanting rays
behind daunting clouds
Stands in new ways.
A gentle breeze
scattering the leaves
making new patterns
in designs it weaves.
No one in sight
for miles at stretch
A single man walks
lonley silent and wretch
With no goals
and no mission
goes on walking
as a submission.
He went on walking
on and on.
For longer miles
he still was gone.

A Girl Stands
• A girl stands for courage
To face all evil
• A girl stands for creativity
To make life fresh
• A girl stands for vigor
To keep things moving
• A girl stands for direction
To guide frail steps
• A girl stands for strength
To drive away fear
• A girl stands for charm
To bring in happiness
• A girl stands for beauty
To light up things
• A girl stands for truth
To keep us aware
• A girl stands for passion
To rekindle the fire.
• A girl stands for care
To cradle the life.
• A girl stands for compassion
To raise the fallen
• A girl stands for candor
To maintain righteousness
• A girl stands for justice
To unite us together.
• A girl stands for vivacity
To drive away numbness
• A girl stands for fragrance
To make life sweeter
• A girl stands for symphony
To bring coherence
• A girl stands for harmony
To maintain the balance.
• A girl stands for dedication
To keep revs up
• A girl stands for love
For having started it.
• A girl stands for treasure
To the one, who has her.
• A girl stands for pleasure
From the sheer sight of hers.

To face all evil

Valentines Day
You love one, love two, even love three
Whatever the number but is it free?
Bound in chains or fenced in walls
Can it go on its own to take its falls?
Love should flow like a river in a plain
Meander it should without seeking any gain
Its turns and twists should be its own
Unique it must be, never a clone.
When it tries to copy any previous form
It is then that it ends in a storm.
Never dictate it terms or conditions
Move with closed eyes without any premonitions.
Until the essence sinks into the heart
Dead it remains not trying to start.
Let love float seamlessly in the air
Do not offer it a house seat or chair.
Radiant you become when it is found
It creeps unknowingly without any sound.
And you don’t remember March, April or May
When you engross the elixir of Valentines Day.
